Challenge 046: FOOL'S GOLD |
Also known as iron pyrite, fool's gold is a gold-colored mineral that is often mistaken for real gold. Fool's gold is also a common term used to describe any item which has been believed to be valuable to the owner, only to end up being not so. Write a story where someone values (either knowingly or unknowingly) something that doesn't actually have a tangible worth. If your submission is written in three separate scenes, that entry will earn an extra point to be tallied during voting! |
Challenge ends Monday, October 23 at 9:00PM EST • Post your submission as a new entry using the template in the profile • Tag this week's entries as: [#] submission, 046 - fool's gold • If you have questions about this challenge, please ask them here |
