Challenge 031: THE ROAD NOT TAKEN

The Road Not Taken is a concept full of potential – it can pose questions for characters to contemplate, change the outcome of a pivotal moment, or even create an entire alternate universe. What if someone had picked a different door to go through? What if they had turned left instead of right? What if that quest-bearing pigeon had stopped at someone else’s chimney? Write a story in which someone thinks about the ramifications of their choices, or where they get a chance to go back and make a different choice. (Or go full What If AU if you like!) BONUS GOAL: The Road Goes Ever On If your story includes a character on some sort of journey, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
