Challenge 033: FAMILY GATHERINGS

A character’s relationship with their family, or lake thereof, can tell us a lot about their history! Some people’s families provide unconditional support; others are the villains of that character’s story, or don’t exist at all. Some families don’t even involve people who are related to each other, but all of them have chosen to be a family. Write a story about a family gathering together (for a celebration, for a sad occasion, or just to be together). Found family counts too! BONUS GOAL: Oddly Specific Traditions If your story makes reference to a family’s specific unusual traditions, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
