Challenge 104: ONLY ONE ROOM

It’s a classic setup for romance. For some reason, there’s only one room – or only one bed – available. Maybe the hotel is almost out of space, and all they have left is a single bedroom. Maybe two characters have told their families they’re dating to avoid questions at family events, and now that the big reunion is coming up, the relative hosting them only has one guest room. On the other hand, maybe being stuck in the same room isn’t particularly romantic. Maybe one character has a secret, and sharing a room compromises that. Maybe the characters involved really aren’t interested, and their host has made some unwarranted assumptions. Maybe everyone involved really likes their privacy! Write a story about having only one room. BONUS GOAL: “Well…here we go, then.” If your story includes this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
