[#126 | Illusion] Challenge Post
Challenge 126: ILLUSION |
n. a misleading image presented to the vision; something that deceives or misleads intellectually An illusion can be as simple as a mirage in the distance, or as complicated as a carefully spun political plot, but either way, by definition it’s misleading and hard to spot. How do your characters handle illusions? Do they create them? See right through them? Fall for them every time? Maybe their quest hinges on an optical illusion, or seeing through someone’s web of misdirection. Maybe their job is to misdirect others, keeping them away from carefully guarded secrets. Write a story about an illusion. If your submission is between 700-1000 words, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting! |
Challenge ends Monday, February 21 at 9:00PM EST. • Post submissions as new entries using the template in the profile • Tag this week's entries as: [#] submission, 126 – illusion • If you have questions about this challenge, please ask them here |
