I didn't want to give them anything Jack couldn't handle, lol! He's the one with all the experience, and he knows every inch of the ship. Ianto is still a learner, but he'll adjust and next time warning lights come on, he won't be so alarmed, knowing that they come on BEFORE things get too serious. They'll manage just fine.
