Challenge 238: APPLE PICKING

In most places where apples grow, it’s a traditional part of autumn: harvesting the apples! Whether it’s a community effort to bring in the harvest, a family tradition of going to the apple orchard to pick a few on the weekend, or a temporary job, someone needs to pick the apples. But that’s hardly universal. Maybe space apples get picked in spring, or maybe your fantasy world’s apple trees only produce apples once every three years. Have your characters ever gone apple-picking? Do they enjoy it? Is it a beloved family tradition, a job, or something they’ve never even thought about? Write a story about apple picking. BONUS GOAL: Man’s Best Friend If your submission features a dog, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
