I think I have to agree with Ianto on this one... thanks to science fiction we've been promised all manner of super cool futures, and I have this sinking feeling the real future will disappoint by comparison. At least it sounds like by this point, at least some of the environmental devastation we're currently wreaking has been resolved (which is a nice hope for the future).
