Challenge 028: OLD FASHIONED

There's almost no generation that doesn't long for the 'way things used to be'; people are always looking backward through rose-tinted glasses. There's no denying that the past is often a simpler time, and the way things were done just made more sense. Maybe you didn't even know you were 'hearkening back' to the good ol' days? Or were you just showing up someone who thinks the latest and greatest tech is the only way to get things done? Write a story in which a character uses old-fashioned methods to get something done. BONUS GOAL: Silence is Golden If your submission contains no spoken dialogue (internal thoughts are fine), that entry will earn an extra point to be tallied during voting!
