Challenge 031: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

(noun) 1. intangible property that is the result of creativity (such as patents or trademarks or copyrights) / 2. something (such as an idea, invention, or process) that comes from a person's mind There's a pervasive belief that there are no original thoughts and ideas... that everything has been said and done before. So what's challenges face someone who wants to create something original, and share it without losing it to someone else? Can ideas be considered public domain? Write a story in which a character considers something to be their intellectual property. BONUS GOAL: Nostalgic Sound If your submission contains a character hearing something which brings back memories, that entry will earn an extra point to be tallied during voting!
