| Challenge 033: JURY'S OUT |
The phrase "jury's out" usually means that something is in the process of being decided, usually without the person who's making the comment! It's a type of limbo that can be insignificant, like waiting to hear back about dinner plans, or life-changing, like waiting to hear back about a guilty or not guilty verdict! People respond to this type of suspense in a lot of different ways: some anxious, some confident, some trying hard not to think about it. Write a story where a character is waiting for a decision on something. If your submission contains an instance of someone being clumsy, that entry will earn an extra point to be tallied during voting! |
