Challenge 002: HEARTBREAK

Different things can cause the feeling of heartbreak, whether it be losing someone or something, a choice that you didn't want to make, disappointment at not getting something, or even sometimes... getting what you thought you wanted. In any instance, heartbreak is a part of life, but that doesn't mean people have to like it. Write a story where someone is heartbroken for any reason, and how they deal with that feeling (well, or not well at all). BONUS GOAL: Half Pint Edition If your submission word count is 500 words or fewer, that entry will earn an extra point to be tallied during voting!
