Challenge 021: BLESSING IN DISGUISE

(idiom.) Something that seems bad or unlucky at first, but results in something good happening later. We don't always recognize when something good comes our way, and sometimes those benefits arrive in messy, unwelcome packages. Good things aren't always recognized for what they are, sometimes for a long time after the fact. Write a story where someone receives something good but doesn't recognize it in the moment, and what consequences that carries for them. BONUS GOAL: "Don't forget me."
