December Bannermaker Signups
Admin Post:I can't believe it's almost the end of November! Sorry this is a bit late, but I've finally gotten my prompts for December rearranged/set in stone, so I'm opening bannermaker signups for those weeks. I've listed the dates below; if you're interested in making banners next month, please leave a comment here with the date range that would work best for you, and I'll message you with that week's prompt.
12/4/19-12/11/19: Challenge 034
12/11/19-12/18/19: Challenge 035
12/18/19-1/1/20: Challenge 036
1/1/20-1/15/20: Challenge 037
Also, since I know that the end of December can be pretty busy for a lot of people, I've been considering providing two-week windows for prompts between 12/15 and 1/15. That would give people extra time to write their fills without trying to work around family commitments, travel, end-of-semester busyness and so on; it would also give the bannermakers a little extra time. Does that sound like a good idea, or would you guys prefer to stick to the one-week schedule?
Edit: It looks like a lot of people would prefer the two-week windows around the holidays, so I'm going to go ahead and confirm that! The prompt dates above have been adjusted to reflect that Challenges 036 and 037 will run for two weeks each. After 1/15/20, we'll go back to the usual one-week schedule.
Bannermaker guidelines below the cut, in case anyone wants to review those before signing up.
Stylistically, the design is up to each maker! They can be as simple or as complex as you want, and can be any size that will fit reasonably on a DW reading page. Each banner should:
Include the community name "fandomweekly"
Include the challenge number (ex: "#007") and (optionally) the theme itself
Include the winner's username (from the winner's post)
Include the place they won (first/1st/second/2nd/etc)
Be posted with the banners tag and the correct challenge tag from the tags list
EX: #banners, 007 - traveling
And should be posted at any point in the week following the voting announcement.
If you are not able to make the banners for your week, please let me know as early as possible so I can find a backup option!

Also, I think a two week window for that time slot is also a good idea given the holidays coming up.

Happy to make some more banners though, any week suits me!

That seems to be the general consensus! Both Challenge 036 and Challenge 037 have been extended to two weeks.

If all that still sounds good to you, would you be okay with covering 12/18-1/1? (You can have 12/4-12/11 if you want it, but I was planning to do that one myself since the signup post went up late--I don't want anyone to feel pressured to get things done in that short of a time frame!)

Could do, I take it the two weeks time count in this case, too?

If you'd rather not do it on short notice, though, that's fine with me too--I could go ahead and put you down for a January challenge if you're okay with waiting a week or so to find out what the prompt is.
