Since we only have two entries this week, I'm once again opening up posting amnesty through Wednesday, July 16th at 9pm EST. Have fun! Your new challenge will be up at the usual time.

Hi all,

Since we only have two entries this week, we'll have our usual mini-amnesty round until Wednesday! Please feel free to post any fills you have over the next couple days, and there'll be a new prompt up at the usual time.

Quick poll from your friendly neighborhood mod! This week, we technically have three fills, so we could run a voting round. However, one of them's mine (from my personal account) and I traditionally exempt my own fills from voting to keep it fair and anonymous. That would leave us with two fills, meaning an amnesty round until Wednesday when the new prompt goes up.

What's your preference? Would y'all rather have an amnesty round, or a slightly less-anonymous voting round? Let me know in the comments!

I'll leave this up until 10:30 US Eastern Time (about an hour and a half from now) and then make a judgment call after that based on feedback.

Hi all,

Since we only had two entries for Prompt #200 and the usual procedure is to put the rest of the week into an amnesty posting period anyway, we'll be starting the Amnesty 020 round a little bit early! Please weigh in here as to whether or not you'd like the fills for Prompt #200 to be posted separately in a roundup on Wednesday as usual, or whether you'd like them to be included with the Amnesty 020 roundup in two weeks. There will be participation banners for both of you either way - it's just a question of whether I post a separate roundup.

As always, thank you so much to all of our writers! Enjoy an extra-long amnesty.

Quick mod update: due to travel delays and changes, I will be on a plane at 9pm Eastern (hopefully!) and will not be available to post the Amnesty roundup until sometime around midnight. Please feel free to continue posting entries up until the roundup post goes up!

Hi all, hope your week's off to a great start! Since we don't have enough entries to effectively vote on this week, I'm extending the prompt #137 posting period through Wednesday, 5/23 at 9pm and will post a roundup then (per group consensus last time this came up). Have fun!

Good evening, everyone! Per the results of this morning's post, we'll be holding a brief, five-day Amnesty round through February 2nd. All the usual Amnesty rules apply (see here for usual Amnesty protocols and prompts 001-120. Prompts 121-123 can be found through the tags page).

My apologies again for the forgotten challenge! Your regularly scheduled FandomWeekly will be back next week.

Hi all, it's your friendly neighborhood mod here (on her non-mod account). My sincerest apologies for the lack of results and a new challenge on Wednesday! I sat down on Wednesday, wrote up the new challenge, and somehow mentally registered that as "my job here is now done" and never actually got around to posting it. My bad.

I'll post the Challenge 123 results when I get home from work tonight in about ten hours (when I may, ironically, be a little bit snowed in). Would you guys prefer having the challenge posted as well and doing a slightly shorter round with posting Saturday-Tuesday and voting Tuesday night through Wednesday, or do you want a five-day Amnesty period with the new challenge starting next week on 2/2?

Quick moderator question for everyone, since we only have two entries eligible for voting this week and last time this came up we had a tie! Would everyone prefer:

-voting round as usual, with only two entries listed

OR

-Treat this as an amnesty week and allow people to continue posting fics through Wednesday evening, with a roundup post in place of a voting round?

Update or voting round will be posted later this evening, depending on responses!

First off, my sincerest apologies for falling behind on bannermaking the last couple of months. Life got intense, and unfortunately keeping up with banners fell by the wayside. I'm going to be working on catching up over the next few weeks, but if anyone would be interested in helping out with banners for past challenges, please let me know!

That being said, prompts have been written for the next month, so they are available for bannermakers if anyone is interested in signing up.

Challenge 091: 4/21-4/28
Challenge 092: 4/28-5/5
Challenge 093: 5/5-5/19
Challenge 094: 5/19-5/26
Challenge 095: 5/26-6/2

Please note that Challenge 093 will be a two-week challenge, since I have real-life commitments the week of the 10th that will keep me from posting on time.

Bannermaker guidelines below the cut, in case anyone wants to review those before signing up.

If you are not able to make the banners for your week, please let me know as early as possible so I can find a backup option!

Also, as a reminder, ideas for prompts are always welcome and can be submitted here! Comments are screened, and any kind of suggestion is welcome.

Cutting it a little close this time (sorry about that), but prompts are ready to go for the next few weeks!

Challenge 076: 12/2-12/9
Challenge 077: 12/9-12/16
Challenge 078: 12/16-12/23
Challenge 079: 12/23/20-1/6/21
Challenge 080: 1/6-1/13

Please note that Challenge 079 will be a two-week challenge, since I have holiday commitments those two weeks that are likely to cause issues with posting on time.

That being said, the prompts for the rest of January have been written, so bannermaker signups are open. Comment below if you'd like to make the banners for one of the following weeks, and I'll PM you the prompt.

[admin post] Admin Post: December Bannermaker Signups

I can't believe it's almost the end of November! Sorry this is a bit late, but I've finally gotten my prompts for December rearranged/set in stone, so I'm opening bannermaker signups for those weeks. I've listed the dates below; if you're interested in making banners next month, please leave a comment here with the date range that would work best for you, and I'll message you with that week's prompt.

12/4/19-12/11/19: Challenge 034
12/11/19-12/18/19: Challenge 035
12/18/19-1/1/20: Challenge 036
1/1/20-1/15/20: Challenge 037

Also, since I know that the end of December can be pretty busy for a lot of people, I've been considering providing two-week windows for prompts between 12/15 and 1/15. That would give people extra time to write their fills without trying to work around family commitments, travel, end-of-semester busyness and so on; it would also give the bannermakers a little extra time. Does that sound like a good idea, or would you guys prefer to stick to the one-week schedule?

Edit: It looks like a lot of people would prefer the two-week windows around the holidays, so I'm going to go ahead and confirm that! The prompt dates above have been adjusted to reflect that Challenges 036 and 037 will run for two weeks each. After 1/15/20, we'll go back to the usual one-week schedule.

As a quick heads-up to those of you still waiting for your banners from Challenge 029, they will be posted this weekend! My apologies for the delay; I'm still working out some of the kinks with the new bannermaker-assigning system, and didn't end up with quite enough time last weekend to sort those out, but you will definitely be getting your banners. Thanks very much for your patience!

And with that, back to your usually scheduled Fandomweekly!
