Summary: Beatrix is making her life slightly easier.


Beatrix laid the second half of her new teleporter set in the hallway of the gate. It seemed to think for a moment, and then the glow of a teleportation spot sprung up reassuringly. This would make her trips to the Glass Desert so much easier.

Even with the small shortcut she'd had before - the teleporter from her ranch to just across from the Moss Blanket - it seemed like it took forever to get to where she was. And any misstep along the way into the Slime Ocean would leave her knocked out and she'd have to face hungry slimes when she got home. She didn't want to suddenly have to fight off angry Hunters or Sabers ever again.

Yes, this would make her errands to this part of the Far, Far Range so much more pleasant. She'd have time to take care of her slimes, time to make money off their plorts, time to become closer friends with her neighbors by helping them out. It was so worth it.

She checked her backpack, took a deep breath, and took the teleporter home.

I'm not familiar with this game, but I enjoyed all the details you included; they make me feel like I have an idea of what Beatrix gets up to even though I don't know the game! It sounds like having another teleporter is going to save Beatrix so much time!

Thanks! Most gamers that I've ever seen (and I myself) stick a teleporter somewhere in the area as it can easily take four hours to get from the ranch to the Glass Desert. Doesn't allow much time to do anything else!

Oh man, four hours! I was picturing, I dunno, half an hour or something. That teleporter sounds like it's an even bigger help than I expected, then!

It definitely is! I was a bit off; it's more like around 3, but still a trip!

Unfamiliar fandom, but it sounds so much fun, especially the slimes ;)

Anything that allows Beatrice more time to care for them has to be good!

Oh yeah. The slimes are adorable, it's a nice open world game where you have a lot of choices, but you do find yourself balancing making sure everything's fed with side adventures, exploring, and so on, especially mid-late game.
