Challenge 077: CONFESSION

Some things are hard to say: declarations of love or other strong feelings, admissions of guilt, stories about something embarrassing or tragic. Maybe you’re not sure how the person you’re confessing to will react, or maybe the thing you’re confessing to is likely to result in some kind of negative consequence. Some people struggle to talk about their feelings at all, regardless of the potential reactions or consequences. Maybe it just doesn’t seem like the right time, or the right place, or the right person. But somehow, the confession comes out anyway. What happens? Do the feared consequences turn out to not be so bad after all? Does it all end well? Or does it turn out to be something that should never have been confessed? Write a story about a confession. BONUS GOAL: Lucky Number 7 If your story is between 700-799 words, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
