Challenge 095: UNEXPECTED WEATHER

Most of the time, it’s not hard to figure out what the weather will be. If it’s cloudy or sunny outside, it can be reasonably expected to stay that way at least some of the time. Characters who live in a modern or future setting might check the forecast; people without access to one of those can make an educated guess from the previous day’s weather or the typical weather for the season. But sometimes a change in the weather comes completely out of nowhere. How do your characters react? Is this just one of many unexpected things happening to them? Do they plan for the unexpected, or are they completely caught off-guard? Write a story about unexpected weather. BONUS GOAL: Sunshine on a Cloudy Day If your story includes sunshine (expected or unexpected), it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
