Challenge 111: PUMPKIN PATCH

For many people, a trip to the pumpkin patch is a fall tradition. Maybe they’re going to pick out the best pumpkins for carving, or maybe they’re more in the mood for pumpkin pie. Maybe they go for the activities, like hayrides or corn mazes, or maybe they’re just there to watch their family or friends enjoy themselves. Or maybe your characters have never been before, and this is a new experience for them! But pumpkin patch trips aren’t always idyllic. Sometimes monsters hide in those corn mazes, or in that innocent-looking field of pumpkins. What kind of trip are your characters expecting? Write a story about a pumpkin patch. BONUS GOAL: “It’s pumpkin season, everyone knows that!” If your story includes this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
