You save the banner on your pc and then upload it on a site like imgur.com, once you've done that you get the direct link (for example I uploaded your banner and here's the link: http://i.imgur.com/6srYqb9.png).
The HTML tag to post an image is <img src="IMAGE URL"> so you just have to copy and past <img src="http://i.imgur.com/6srYqb9.png"> to your profile and you're set. ;)
