Challenge 168: FIRST KISS

They say you never forget your first kiss, and whether that’s strictly true or not, your first kiss is certainly a very special thing to many people! Some people might daydream about theirs, planning the perfect moment and imagining who it might be with (whether that’s a particular someone, or just a general idea). Some people might debate what counts as a ‘first kiss’ – is it only your first kiss ever, or do you get a new ‘first’ with every person you kiss? For many people, their first kiss – ever, or with a particular person – is a treasured memory. But other people might not really care (or at least, they say they don’t)! Maybe they aren’t interested in romance in general, or kissing in particular. Maybe they are, but they never thought it would happen for them, or they gave up on the idea a long time ago. Where do your characters fall on that spectrum? Have they had their first kiss? How do they feel about it? Write a story about a first kiss. BONUS GOAL: Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue If your submission features flowers, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
