#190-Will Trent TV- Wish- Wishing
Fandom Weekly
Theme Prompt: 190 Wish
Title: Wishing
Fandom: Will Trent tv
Rating/Warnings: G/none to speak of.
Bonus: Yes
Word Count: 432
Summary: Will has some thinking to do.
When Will got home that evening, his best friend and lover wasn’t there. Angie must have been working late. Will understood that because she was a homicide cop and Will was a special agent for the GBI. (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) It was late and Will was hungry. His small adopted dog, Betty crawled into his lap and sighed.
“I know, Betty. I miss her too. I wish that she would spend more time with us instead of making excuses why she shouldn’t be here.”
Will got up and poured some food in Betty’s bowl and set her down on the floor. He ended up with the dog because he found her at a homicide site and took her to the Humane Society. They talked him into adopting her. And Will never regretted it. She was a good little dog. Everyone that came in contact with her, liked her. She was a blessing in disguise.
The reason Will adopted Betty is because he grew up in Atlanta Foster Care and most of the places weren’t good places. Because of this, he was a soft touch for anyone that was alone and afraid. That’s where Will met Angie. They were together since they were very young.
Will wished they could be more serious and he wanted love to be involved. Angie was a tough sell on that. She didn’t believe in love at all. At least what she would admit to. Be careful what you wish for.
Will ordered dinner for two at the Chinese restaurant and hoped she would be there soon. Yes, Will Trent wanted more from Angie, but he didn’t want to scare her off. He had better take this slowly. Or better yet, he would wait until she came to him with love talk. Yes, Angie was worth waiting for.
The food came and as Will was paying for it, in walked Angie.
“Did you order me something too, Will?”
“Of course. Sit down at the table and we’ll eat like regular people.”
She threw back her head and laughed. “As if anyone would ever think we were regular people.”
Will even had to laugh about that. Dinner was wonderful and Will was once again reminded of the fact that they were just like regular people. Even if she didn’t want to admit it.
Yes, Will was going to just go slow and win her over.
