What does it mean to be free? The dictionary defines it as “the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action” – in other words, freedom is just the absence of anything forcing you to or stopping you from doing something. But is that all it is? Or is there something more to it? Does freedom always feel like freedom? How do your characters feel about freedom? Are they free, or not? Do they think they are, or not? Write a story about freedom. If your submission features the sky, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting! |
