Challenge 207: JEALOUSY

hostility toward a rival or one believed to enjoy an advantage; intolerance of rivalry or unfaithfulness They say jealousy is an ugly thing, and it can certainly lead to a lot of trouble! Rivalry and competition are almost inevitable in many environments, and jealousy can make them far more hostile than they need to be. Whether it’s over a romance, a game, social standing, something pettier or genuinely important, unneeded hostility can turn competitions into conflicts and arguments into all-out fights. But jealousy is a natural emotion, and everyone’s experienced it at some point; under control, jealousy can be a flag that there’s something going on with your feelings that you need to figure out. Do your characters deal with jealousy? Are they jealous of other people, or is someone jealous of them? How do they deal with it? Write a story about jealousy. BONUS GOAL: Green With Envy If your submission features the color green, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
