Nearly everyone in their lifetime has told a "white lie": a falsehood that they consider either harmless, or done to spare the feelings of someone to whom the truth may be harmful or hurtful. Write a story in which a character tells a small or well-intentioned lie. This week's theme prompt is courtesy of effingunicorns!
