[#139] Touring is Useless (My Time at Sandrock)
Theme Prompt: 139 - Getting Lost
Title: Touring is Useless
Fandom: My Time at Sandrock (Video Game)
Rating/Warnings: None
Bonus: No
Word Count: 260
Summary: May should have known better to take Jasmine up on her offer of a tour.
"Wait a minute!" May called as Jasmine sped ahead of her. She had only been in Sandrock less than a day, enough time to make a pickhammer and try to get enough material for a recycler. Which she hadn't accomplished yet, but she would today, she was sure.
But Jasmine had offered her a tour, which she'd agreed to as she hadn't really familiarized herself with Sandrock yet and she really did want to understand where she was in the town. The first two stops had gone well, Jasmine not speeding too far ahead. But on the last stop, the girl had sped along without saying where she was going and May had no clue where that last stop was.
May tried to follow her, but she found herself lost... walking along main street, around the nooks and crannies, even ending up at her house before turning around, retracing her steps, and finally finding her way to the Church of the Light, where it turned out Jasmine was. The girl seemed not to even notice, just giving an introduction to the Church of the Light before waving a cheery goodbye, as if she'd been a good tour guide in the first place. May sighed, making her way back to her workshop. After all, there was a recycler to make before she could concentrate on anything else, and Jasmine's annoying little tour had just wasted her time.
Making her way down from the Church of The Light, she hoped nobody else would sidetrack her that day.
