Lucifer looked indignantly down at Trixie.

"Dress as a vampire for Halloween? The devil doesn't have fangs, child. Why would I want blood over my Armani?"

"Pleeease," Trixie begged, her big brown eyes looking hopeful. "You could wear a cape too! You would look great."

"A cape!" Lucifer said, looking horrified. "That's a fashion crime. Detective, please help me here."

Chloe stood in her home, trying not to laugh. It was amazing how often Lucifer was bested by her daughter.

"Trixie, you can't force people what to wear at Halloween," she said gently.

Trixie pouted.

"But you're dressing up as a vampire, so I thought you two could match," she explained.

Lucifer's eyes brightened.

"You're dressing as a vampire, Detective?"

Chloe looked sheepish.

"I promised Trixie I would take her trick or treating this year. Plastic fangs are all I really need."

Lucifer thought that with that, a black dress and her long blonde hair, she would look like a vampire no man could resist.

Maybe he should ask if Armani made capes?
