Summary: They had promised Elizabeth all her memories had been restored after her near-fatal accident. Had they told the truth?

After the accident that had killed Elizabeth's husband Lawrence and almost herself, she had been assured after she came out of her regen tank nine months later that all her memories had been restored. After all, hadn't her middle-aged body been restored to that of a young woman?

But now a prisoner in prehistoric Earth on the other side of the time gate, Elizabeth's thoughts turned dark and she wondered if all of her memories were truly restored. Everything seemed to be there. She can certainly remember the panic and horror she felt during the Metapsychic Rebellion when she was seventeen, with her then-boyfriend Lawrence a steady constant in her life.

But what if some of her restored memories were fake? There's no way of knowing or checking now, which doesn't help.

She can trust the new memories she's making now since leaving Denali, but sadly Lawrence will never be a part of them.

That would be awful, not being able to trust your memories of the past, not knowing if they were real or fake.

It would. I think she would have checked some memories with her workmates, but she might have wondered if all of the important personal memories were there. Or could be trusted.
