Challenge 159: MEMORY |
Memory can be a funny thing. Sometimes it’s as clear and sharp as reality; other times it’s distant and vague or completely nonexistent. Some memories linger long after we want them to; others fade away no matter how hard we try to hold on. Some memories aren’t even real, built out of dreams or nightmares or a particularly vivid bit of imagination. What are your characters’ memories like? Do they remember everything, or struggle to remember even important things? Do they have memories they wish they could forget, or have they lost some that they’d like to retrieve? Write a story about a memory. If your submission features this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting! |
Challenge ends Monday, November 28 at 9:00PM EST. • Post submissions as new entries using the template in the profile • Tag this week's entries as: [#] submission, 159 – memory • If you have questions about this challenge, please ask them here |
