Challenge 013: SUPERSTITION

(noun) 1. a belief or way of behaving that is based on fear of the unknown and faith in magic or luck. 2. a belief that certain events or things will bring good or bad luck. Superstitions in life can come from all types of experiences. Some people are raised with certain ones, and others are taken on from the company we choose to keep. Any experience, good or bad, can form the basis of a superstition, whether having a lucky piece of clothing, a habitual gesture or motion, or a reflexive reaction. Write a story in which the character displays some sort of superstitious behaviour. BONUS GOAL: Good Luck, Bad Luck If your submission contains an instance of good or bad luck happening, that entry will earn an extra point to be tallied during voting!
