Challenge 024: LIFE HACK

(noun; informal) 1. a usually simple and clever tip or technique for accomplishing some familiar task more easily and efficiently 2. a procedure which uses common objects, often in unconventional ways, which solves a problem, simplifies a task, reduces frustration, etc, in one's everyday life. It seems everyone these days has a clever method for approaching life's common problems. Often these solutions are as much about being inventive and creative, as they are about solving the issue! Is it something that's been passed down from an older generation? Is the technique rooted in science, or in superstition? Write a story where about a character uses an unconventional method to solve a challenge. This week's bonus goal courtesy of texelations! BONUS GOAL: "They're staring at us again."
