Challenge 075: HEARTH AND HOME

Many stories take their heroes all over the world, or even to other worlds, visiting exciting, strange, or dangerous new places. But when all of the adventures are done, where do our heroes go? Sometimes, after danger or terror or just a long day, all you want to do is curl up at home around a fireplace and relax with the people you love. Thoughts of getting back to hearth and home and family can be the thing that drives a character, or something that they’ve almost given up on before finally having the chance to rest for a while. Write a story about hearth and home. BONUS GOAL: “We’ll always be here for you.” If your story includes this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
