Challenge 117:
HAPPILY EVER AFTER
“…and they all lived happily ever after.”

It’s the classic happy ending to a story, but what does “happily ever after” mean for your characters? After the adventure ends, do things go on happily for them, or is life just as complicated after the adventure as it was during it? Maybe they’re still working toward their happy ending, dreaming about what it might be, or maybe they’re too cynical or worn-down to expect a happy ending for themselves. Do they tell their children stories that end in “happily ever after”, whether or not they got one themselves?

Write a story about happily ever after.

BONUS GOAL: Two’s The Charm

If your submission has a wordcount divisible by 2, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!

Challenge ends Monday, November 29 at 9:00PM EST.
