Challenge 141: INSPIRATION

Where do those brilliant – or not so brilliant – ideas come from? Inspiration, of course, whatever it might be! Maybe it’s a flash of insight in the middle of the night, or a road sign with an unusual name, or a story you read as a child. Sometimes it arrives right when you need it; other times, it comes hours later and leaves you wondering why inspiration doesn’t happen on command! What about your characters? What inspires them? Do they find inspiration when they need it, or does it come later? Write a story about inspiration. BONUS GOAL: “That’s a terrible plan.” If your submission includes this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
