Challenge 169: SICK DAY

Sometimes, you just have to stay home and sleep. Nobody likes being sick, but it happens to all of us eventually! Maybe it’s the yearly round of nasty colds in February, or something vague but unpleasant that comes home from work every couple of months. Maybe it’s something non-contagious but not fun – a sprained knee, a migraine, a broken wrist. Or maybe it’s something far more serious. How do your characters handle sick days? Do they push through them, getting the job done no matter how bad they feel? Do they stay home and rest? Do they take a sick day at the slightest sniffle? Write a story about a sick day. BONUS GOAL: “I don’t feel so good.” If your submission features this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
