Challenge 172: LOST MEMORIES

We’ve written before about the things you remember – but what about the things you forget? Maybe it’s from some kind of injury – a blow to the head, a magical psychic attack, an accident that left them in a temporary coma. Maybe it’s something more serious – a death and resurrection, cloning, a transfer to a new body. Or maybe it’s just conventional memory loss. Whatever the case, your characters have forgotten something! Was it important? How do they feel about it? Will they get the memories back, or are they gone forever? Is there someone else who remembers? Write a story about lost memories. BONUS GOAL: “Okay, there are a few gaps in my knowledge.” If your submission features this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
