Challenge 212:
HOPE
There’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

Sometimes it’s hard to hope. When it seems like everything is going wrong – the quest has failed, the bad guys won, the hero died – it’s hard to think that things could still turn around. Of course, that’s when you need hope the most; it isn’t easy, and maybe it doesn’t come naturally, but it’s important.

What do your characters think of hope? Do they try to hold onto it even in their darkest hour? Dismiss it as something for fairy tales?

Write a story about hope.

BONUS GOAL: Nautical Dawn

If your submission takes place at or before sunrise, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!

Challenge ends Monday, March 18 at 9:00PM EST.
