Challenge 289: HOT COCOA

It’s a classic staple of cozy nights by the fire, snow day afternoons, and romantic walks down a street lined with Christmas lights. Maybe it’s the fancy traditional homemade kind, carefully hand-mixed exactly to your preferences; maybe it’s the powdered kind in a paper packet dumped into just-under-boiling water, because that’s what you had time for; maybe it’s a special alien beverage, only available at one specific space station, and good luck getting it anywhere else in the galaxy. It’s not for everyone, but if you like it, it can make a night that much sweeter. Write a story about hot cocoa. BONUS GOAL: “Here, this will help.” If your submission features this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
