Challenge 042: WINTER NIGHTS

Brrr! Is there anything better on a cold winter’s night than curling up with a cup of hot chocolate (or the in-universe equivalent) in front of a warm fire? Well, some characters would rather be out in the snow on an adventure! A winter night can be a good time for reflecting on the year (behind or ahead) or relaxing with friends and loved ones—or it can be a terrifying backdrop for a struggle against the elements. Write a story where someone experiences a winter night. BONUS GOAL: Huddling for Warmth If someone in your story has to huddle together with someone else for warmth, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
