Shortcuts seem so useful, at first glance! They can make a long journey quicker, or make a grueling task easier. But sometimes shortcuts aren’t as good an idea as they seem to be, and a badly-planned shortcut can end up making the journey or the task take much longer than it originally would have. Write a story about a shortcut. BONUS GOAL: Short and Sweet If your story is 500 words long or less, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
