Challenge 084: DRAGONS

Everybody knows what a dragon is…right? Well, maybe they don’t! Maybe your characters live in a world where dragons are just fantasy, or where they went extinct millions of years ago. Maybe there’s heated debate over what “counts” as a dragon – does that tiny iguana that looks like it might breathe fire qualify, or the deep-sea fish that looks more like an eel? On the other hand, maybe your characters live in a world where everybody knows exactly what a dragon is. Maybe dragons are very bad news, and they’d rather not know – or maybe they’ve spent their whole life trying to find one. Write a story about dragons. BONUS GOAL: “They’re not as big as I thought they’d be.” If your story includes this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
