Brrr! When the temperature drops below zero – either Fahrenheit or Celsius – most people agree that it’s time to go inside. When it’s below zero, it’s a good time to go inside, sit by a fire, and drink something hot. But not everyone agrees! Some people have a reason to stay outside. Maybe they’re on a quest across the mountains and can’t get in to shelter without going well out of their way. Maybe they have a job that requires working outside in all weather. Superheroes, aliens, and other fantasy creatures might not feel the cold or be affected by it as strongly as standard humans. How will your characters handle the cold? Write a story where the temperature is below zero. If your story includes this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting! |
