In order to vote, please reply to this post using the form provided. All comments are screened, and entries are listed in the order they were submitted. For your vote to qualify, you must fill out your entire voting card (both spots) in order to be counted. Winner votes are worth 2 points, Runner Up votes are worth 1 point. Meeting the bonus goal on an entry gets an extra point for that submission.

Mirror mirror on the wall… A character’s reaction to coming face-to-face with their own reflection can tell us a lot about their inner life! Do they avoid mirrors whenever possible, or do they proudly show off their many childhood photo albums? Would meeting their own clone be their worst nightmare, or a dream come true? Write a story about a character’s interaction with their own reflection, whether that’s in a mirror, a picture, a clone, an identical twin, or a blurry image in a car window. If your story incorporates first-person perspective, it will gain an extra point to be tallied in voting! |
