How many heroes are willing to sacrifice themselves for principle? It’s a classic story climax; the hero puts their lives on the line for principle, or to save the world, or to save someone they love. But it’s not just the hero. Any character can step up for the heroic sacrifice – a family member, a sidekick, sometimes even the villain.

Write a story about a martyr.
