SUPERPOWERS

Really, who hasn’t wanted to leap tall buildings in a single bound, control the weather, or race across town in the blink of an eye? Most of us can agree that in theory, superpowers sound pretty awesome. But not all superpowers are created equal, and there’s plenty of downsides to being able to read minds or stop time.

For your characters, are superpowers part of their daily lives, or are they the stuff of comic books and movies? If they have superpowers, do they enjoy it, or do they struggle with their abilities? Do they have a strict moral code, or use their powers for everything? Maybe they’re the kind of people who argue over the coolest superpower with their friends (whether or not they actually have that power), or have theories about what they’d be able to do if only they had superpowers.

Write a story about superpowers.

BONUS GOAL: Shining Symbols

If your submission features some kind of superhero symbol (even discussed), it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
