Title: evened odds
Fandom: Mario & Luigi RPGs - Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (Cackletta Is Not Killed Midgame AU + Fawful is a Witch Trainee AU)
Rating/Warnings: Inherent spoilers due to the aformentioned Cackletta related AU premise, specifically taking place when Cackletta is fought (or rather is meant to be fought) in Woohoo Hooniversity. PG-13 becus Cackletta swears.
Word Count: 726
Summary: Fawful manages to awaken the Beanstar due to him being a child, though his wish ends up having an unexpected effect due to the Beanstar's whim.
Author's Note: Because it's Amnesty Time, I decided to be once again cheeky and make some drabbles related to each other! So my following entries after this will be interconnected. :3 also adoptive Momletta for the win! (also x2 sorry for any silly place names they just are That Way ingame)

What do your characters wish for?

Maybe it’s something grand and apparently impossible – immortal life, infinite wealth, world peace. Maybe it’s something simpler and more straightforward – they want to go home, or they want a friend, or they want to have a favorite meal one more time. Maybe they just really, really want a pony. Whatever it is, they want something, and for whatever reason, no matter how small it is, they can’t have it right now.

Is the wish temporarily unattainable, or is it permanent? Is it something they’ve always wanted, or a new desire? Does anyone else know about the wish, or do they keep it secret?

Write a story about a wish.

BONUS GOAL: “Be careful what you wish for.”
