Challenge 225: ALIBI |
n. having been elsewhere at the time a crime was committed From the cat who was definitely snoozing in the sun when that water glass was knocked over, to the murder suspect looking for the right receipt to prove he was all the way across town when it happened or the superhero quickly coming up with a reason his civilian identity’s never been seen in the same room, alibis come in all shapes and sizes! But sometimes it can be hard to find one – especially if you did whatever it is you’re being accused of. Have your characters ever needed an alibi? Did they have one? What was it for? Did things work out okay for them, or not so much? Write a story about an alibi. If your submission features this line, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting! |
Challenge ends Monday, July 1 at 9:00PM EST. • Post submissions as new entries using the template in the profile • Tag this week's entries as: [#] submission, 225 – alibi • If you have questions about this challenge, please ask them here |
