What do your characters think about the future? Maybe by our standards they already live in the future – traveling through space, or living on a very different Earth thanks to technology we haven’t developed yet – but they probably still have some idea of what they want things to look like, “someday”.

Do they have hopes and dreams for that future? Have they been in survival mode so long it’s hard to imagine? Or has it never really occurred to them, because they like to live in the moment? If you asked them about their dream future, what would they say?

Write a story about someone’s future.
