Challenge 309:
GALAXIES

Those of us who live in cities with a lot of light pollution don’t get to see galaxies very often – stars, sometimes, but not the clusters of them that mark a whole new star system. But they’re there, for anyone with a telescope, a dark sky, and the time to look for them!

Do your characters spend much time noticing galaxies? Maybe they travel between them, using some kind of technology or magic we haven’t discovered yet, or maybe they use them for navigation on dark nights. Maybe their world has a whole different set of galaxies for them to visit or explore. Or maybe they’ve never seen one before, and have to be introduced to it by a stargazing friend.

Write a story about galaxies.

If your submission features telescopes, it will earn an extra point to be tallied in voting!
