Maybe your protagonist has spent their whole life doing things that they regret now, and they’re looking for a way to atone. On the other hand, maybe they regret very little, even things they reasonably should regret doing. Do their friends, coworkers, and enemies have opinions about that? Do they have their own regrets?

Write a story about regrets.
